Getting in touch

A safe, confidential first step

Enquiries and appointments

If you’d like to book a session or ask a question, you’re very welcome to reach out. I understand this might be a vulnerable first step, especially if you’re unsure where to begin. You don’t need to explain everything all at once. Just share whatever feels manageable, and I’ll be in touch.

I’m available both in private practice and at the Brisbane Centre for Attachment & Relationships (Morningside).

Wednesdays

Online only

If you would like to book an initial appointment or ask a question, please reach out to me directly at hello@donaldvaneupen.com.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays

In-person and online

Please contact the Brisbane Centre for Attachment & Relationship admin team to arrange an appointment: attachmentbrisbane.com.au - 07 3899 8590

This way, you can choose the option and setting that feels most comfortable or accessible for you. When you contact me directly, I’ll seek to respond to you within 2–3 business days.

Session Options & Fees

Starting January 2026, my session fees will be:

Standard session (50 minutes): $260 AUD

Extended session (80 minutes): $390 AUD.

Rebates

Medicare: Rebates may be available with a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan.

Private Health Insurance: Rebates may apply depending on your level of cover. I am registered with most health funds.

Please note that my email is not monitored outside business hours and should not be used for urgent or high-risk matters. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, please call 000 or refer to the 24/7 support services listed below for immediate help.

If you’re in crisis

If you’re in immediate danger, please call 000 and ask for an ambulance. If you can’t speak or need to get to safety, please go directly to your nearest hospital Emergency Department - they’re open 24/7.

My intention is to offer a steady, reliable space where you can bring whatever feels most difficult, knowing it will be met with care. While I hold that commitment seriously, I’m not able to offer crisis or after-hours support, and I’m not an emergency service.
